Doug McCann A dynamic speaker, leadership trainer, entrepreneur, and business leader, Doug McCann is known for helping leaders engage their employees for better business results. With over 23 years of international experience within retail, logistics, global sourcing and product development for IKEA, Doug brings a depth of real-world experience to his clients and audiences. After being President of IKEA’s North American Supply Chain organization, Doug went on to launch the Children’s IKEA initiative within the global retailing giant. He is no stranger to understanding the challenges facing organizations in finding the right people and building great teams.By utilizing his in-depth retail knowledge of supply chain management, product sourcing and development and retailing, Doug works closely with retailers to train and educate employees, streamline their business processes, understand their customers better and improve their overall bottom line results. As the founder of Frontline Leadership in Practice Solutions and Managing Principal of Predictive Success Corporation, Doug works with an international array of organizations in a wide variety of business segments, helping them to improve the effectiveness of their leadership teams and ultimately their bottom line results.
Doug resides with his wife and three children in Vancouver. As an active member of the community, Doug enjoys serving as the President the Board of Directors for Vancouver Theatre Sports. Doug is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Operations Management.
